1.4.8 FTB ComputerCraft Turtle Problem

So I was playing the Mindcrack FTB mod pack, which has the 1.4.8 version of ComputerCraft, and I noticed that when I fueled my mining turtle, and then broke it with my pickaxe to place somewhere else, it would have a fuel level of 0. I have tried older versions of ComputerCraft, and I don't get this? Is it supposed to be a new feature or is it a bug?

This is because you're now placing a new turtle with a new ID.
Give the turtle a name to prevent this to make it 'special'.

Type this into the turtle:
label set MyTurtle

Break the turtle now and hover over it, you will see 'MyTurtle'.

Thanks, it worked. I already knew how to name them, seems I just forgot to do so. It's the more advanced coding that I don't understand.
It's kind of wierd how this only happens in the new version.
