Turtle Programs

Ok, I'm sorry for asking, I'm sure this is the most commonly asked question ever. I made a very simple program on a turtle, but every time I pick up and move the turtle, the program is gone. Is there any way to let the turtle keep the program between moves? Am I simply moving the turtle wrong? I really have only the slightest idea what I am doing. Help, please D:

label the turtle… to see usage of the label program type label into the terminal… labeled turtles also keep their fuel level (if your running that version of CC)… you can also label computers… and floppy disks ( so you can see which is which from your inv )

you need to give the turtle a label to get it to save it's programs. If you want to call it Mike, just say label set Mike and he'll forever be Mike
